 wall art inspired by birds seen around the British coast

This is an assortment of individually hand-carved 2D-wooden birds mounted on natural objects (e.g. stone or pieces of wood). Birds are 2D, apart from the detail around the head, beak and eye which have depth, but give the illusion of 3D at a distance. Included in these works are several examples of 2D birds mounted as pictures against a painted background. Most of these birds were inspired by coastal walks near Gorran Haven, Cornwall and Seaview, Isle of Wight. Many of these earlier work are available to purchase, please contact us to enquire.
